The Public Health Division, Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) supplemental nutrition program, and the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Epidemiology program are seeking an enthusiastic, data-minded individual to join our team. This position will be responsible for managing and analyzing data for both the WIC and MCH Epidemiology programs and providing concrete tools to monitor program and project effectiveness, conduct long and short-range planning, and inform programmatic priorities and strategies. This position will compile data, perform statistical analyses, establish and maintain data management processes and procedures, perform quality assurance, recommend data management and analysis changes where needed, monitor database validity, and create data visualizations. This is a full-time at-will contract employee (AWEC) position with limited benefits. This position does not have supervisory or budgetary responsibilities. This position reports to the MCH Epidemiology program manager, in coordination with the MCH Unit Manager and the WIC Unit Manager.
PREFERENCES:
Preference may be given to applicants with a bachelor’s degree in epidemiology or a related field and experience in data analysis, statistics, and program evaluation. Preference will be given to applicants with experience working with Tableau for data visualization and R for data management and analysis.
