Pay Rate: $ 1,000 To 1,280 per week

About the Role

The Epidemiologist 1 will support public health activities focused on fetal and infant health in rural Tennessee communities. This position will work with epidemiological data, program evaluation, reporting, data quality, and visualization to support informed program decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze maternal, fetal, infant, vital statistics, PPOR, and hospital discharge data.

  • Collect, clean, validate, integrate, and analyze data from multiple sources.

  • Develop reports, dashboards, presentations, and data visualizations.

  • Support program evaluation, performance monitoring, and reporting activities.

  • Provide data support to program staff, grantees, community partners, and multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Statistics, Public Health, Health Informatics, or a related field.

  • Knowledge of epidemiological and statistical analytical methods.

  • Experience working with large datasets, databases, and multiple data sources.

  • Experience with data validation, quality assurance, reporting, and statistical analysis.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAS experience preferred.
