What you will do:

• Responsible for all infection control monitoring, tracking, and prevention
• Makes frequent rounds to ensure nursing staff are following the facility policy and procedures - redirecting or educating, as necessary (for IP control only, not nursing manger or clinical role).
• Ensure the core principles of infection control are being observed
• Any other tasks as directed by the DON

Must have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Epidemiology
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
• In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations
• Physical strength and stamina
• First aid and CPR certifications
• Minimum one-year in a supervisory role in a Skilled Nursing setting preferred
