Director, Field Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR), Northeast
The Director, Field HEOR, is a senior scientific leader responsible for shaping and executing Bayer’s U.S. Field HEOR engagement strategy with payers, health systems, IDNs, and other access‑decision stakeholders. This role serves as the primary field‑based HEOR expert, translating evidence into meaningful value discussions, identifying customer‑driven evidence needs, and ensuring those insights inform Bayer’s HEOR and Medical strategies.
The Director partners closely with Market Access, Medical Affairs, and HEOR Research Strategy teams to deliver clear, data‑driven value messages; support population‑specific evidence needs; inform economic modeling; and establish Bayer as a trusted HEOR partner across national and regional payer organizations. The role is critical in supporting appropriate access by bridging scientific evidence, real‑world insights, and payer decision‑making frameworks.
Territiory will cover the Northeast: MI, OH, PA, WV, MD, DE, VA, DC, NC, SC, FL

Employees can expect to be paid a salary of between $175,300 to $263,000. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
