Job Summary:

The Epidemiologist will assist in planning, developing, and conducting epidemiologic investigations and disease surveillance activities. This role supports efforts to identify the causes of diseases, monitor trends, and help implement appropriate control measures. The position involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting statistical data, as well as preparing clear epidemiologic reports. Working under general supervision, the Epidemiologist may independently handle small projects or contribute as part of a project team.

Key Responsibilities:
<\/div>

<\/div>
Conduct epidemiologic investigations and routine disease surveillance in areas such as communicable diseases, chronic diseases, environmental health, toxicology, or perinatal epidemiology.
<\/div>

<\/div>
Collect, analyze, and interpret statistical and epidemiologic data.
<\/div>

<\/div>
Prepare written reports, summaries, and presentations of findings.
<\/div>

<\/div>
Support the development and implementation of disease control and prevention measures.
<\/div>

<\/div>
Maintain accurate records and ensure data quality for all assigned projects.
<\/div>

<\/div>
Collaborate with internal teams, health professionals, and partner organizations to support public health initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
<\/div>

<\/div>
Knowledge of epidemiologic study design, data collection methods, and statistical analysis.
<\/div>

<\/div>
Familiarity with standard descriptive statistical techniques.
<\/div>

<\/div>
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
<\/div>

<\/div>
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
<\/div>

<\/div>
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
<\/div>

Minimum Qualifications:
<\/div>

<\/div>
Master’s degree in Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a closely related field.
